The idea of The Toothmouse came from a bedtime conversation between the Author & Illustrator, Dave, and his oldest daughter, Carys, following a missed appointment with the Tooth Fairy.
The Toothmouse is a happy, fun story about a mouse who loves a human's smile - so decides to go on an adventure to steal teeth before the tooth fairy gets hold of them, to make his own version of a perfect smile!
